5.2. If you use Arch Linux, consider using ALHP (unstable) or CachyOS (more stable) packages for extra performance
6. INCREASE audio buffer size to reduce CPU instructions required to push audio to buffer. This is applicable to "Linux low latency audio on osu!" guys
7. Consider running on a basic window manager, such as Openbox without compositors
8. Run osu! through gamemode wrapper, might help

idk what changed but now it stutters the same way stable does
nvm just stuff on my end being fucky
guess ill say something proper here then
before i was getting missing dll for the background video and with the new client the dll seems to be there but said video isnt playing
might be an issue with .avi

idk if its related to the client but playing with a beatmap skin turned off when it has one the skin looks slightly different than if the map doesnt have one
with:

without:

either a thing with slider settings set to different than the default or just a placebo

I don't notice anything in particular? But maybe I missed something, mind sending me that skin?

should be more visible on this beatmap skin
1st ss on 2nd ss off


also both skin settings are set to modern

I have stared at this image for 5 minutes and I can't tell what part doesn't look the same. And with the skins I tested I thought they look the same too… so this is probably a me skill issue, but can you like, highlight the thing in red that is most clearly different and DM it to me or something?

After talking with bazded we both agreed that this issue seems to be resolved, or maybe it happens after a certain amount of play time. Could be a memory related issue is my guess.

Version 2.3.22 of my modded client is now out! This is a small bugfix release

Mouse and Keyboard handlers have been updated to match late 2013 builds, I noticed a big improvement in CtB and Mania should be improved as well!

2 New Titanic cookies have been added! The new pink version of the logo, and the beta blue version!


The client will now send me the version you are using if you get an error, so at least now I can know if you are using the latest version or not when it dies 😭

Fix a crash in the editor when changing the sampleset of many objects at once in the Compose tab of the editor

Change "Show Hardware Info" text to "Show Renderer Used" If Hardware Submission is Disabled

Fixed a bug where the game could not submit a benchmark score without having hardware submission enabled.

Added the ability to click the replay export notification to directly open your replays folder

Show the correct new combo button when selecting from the timeline on newer editor themes

Alert the user if they are missing the changelog file when opening the changelog, and alert the user if the Benchmark leaderboard cannot be retrieved.

You can now set the custom frame limiter in the Options!


The download now includes the osu!stream skin by projectms!

Not sure if this is intentional behavior, but snow only falls when there isn't a song currently playing.

… Also you can't disable it, which is definitely not intentional.

This is not an issue I can replicate. Snow falls just fine on released version with a song playing. You are correct though, the snow can not be disabled. This will be fixed in the next bug fix release.
